My Dear CCC Family,
I am excited that we are moving into a new season for our Lord’s service. It is my constant joy to serve with you as your pastor. We have a wealth of opportunities ahead.
We will study the Gospel of Mark beginning September 11th 2011, throughout the fall until Advent (Nov. 27th 2011). The plan for sermon-based small groups works this way:
- AN outline of the Sunday Sermon will be in the bulletin packet
- A set of questions for small-group study and refection will be part of that packet
- You can do that homework and participate in one of several small-groups during the week, at Wednesday’s “Meet Me in the Middle”, or Sunday school to discuss and learn from the previous week’s sermon.
I hope and pray that God’s blessing will be yours and our as a Congregation of Christ followers!

Youth Group
The Youth Group addresses the spiritual needs of Junior and Senior High-age teens. Generally, meetings consist of an ad-hoc style of discussion where topics reflecting teen needs are directed toward biblical references. Every few weeks the Youth Group takes part in a special activity (swimming, special events, concerts, service projects).

SERMON-BASED SMALL GROUPS begin September 11, 2011 (Patriot Day).
I plan to begin a series on the Gospel of Mark, provide study/review notes,
and some homework/discussion questions, and invite persons to join/host/lead a Small Group through the Fall (until November 27). Mark, the Gospel of the Servant, will guide us toward a better awareness of our Lord and help us grow in knowledge of HIS character, will, & purpose.
We will have some Small Groups meeting on Wednesdays at Meet Me in the Middle (6:00 pm Dinner; 7:00 pm Groups), during Sunday School (10:30 am), and during the week in homes as needed. Watch the Sunday News and Notes for details on times, places and leaders.
