Church Elders

I came to a saving knowledge of the Lord through the faithful preaching of the Gospel in 1974. I became interested in biblical studies in the late 90's, and along with prayer, led my wife Maureen and I to attend Covenant Theological Seminary in Saint Louis Missouri beginning the summer of 2014 and graduating with a Masters in Divinity in 2017. Prior to that time, I served as Education Ministry Chair at CCC for10 years. During that time, I supervised both the Children and Adult Education Programs as well as selecting the curriculum we would use. My wife Maureen and I have been members of CCC since 1993.

I came to know the Lord and Savior at age 32 in San Antonio, TX. My wife Sandy and I moved to Utah in 2000 to continue my career as a aircraft welder at Hill Air Force Base. I retired in 2018 after 39 years of civil service. I have taught a number of Bible Studies through the years. I help form and lead a Christ-based food pantry ministry, served as elder at First Christian Church and preached at Ogden Rescue Mission for the past 20 years. I recieved a Certificate of Biblical Studies at Moody Bible Institute and trained as a Stephen Minister. My prayer is that God would continue to use me to teach, preach and minister the Word at CCC.
